At World View HD, we take your privacy seriously. This page tells you, in plain words:
- What we collect when you visit worldviewhd.com (the “Website”), use our Services, or use a World View HD Product.
- Why we collect it and how we use it.
- How we keep it safe.
Some words in this policy, such as “Services” and “Products”, are explained in our Terms of Use. If a word is not explained here, please check the Terms of Use.
Please take a few minutes to read this page. When you visit the Website, use our Services, or use a World View HD Product, you are agreeing to this Privacy Policy. Technology, business practices and laws keep changing, so we may update this policy in the future to keep up.
2. Links to Other Websites
Our Website may link to websites that belong to other people or companies. This policy covers only World View HD. It does not cover any company, person or website that we do not control, including sites you reach through our links.
Before you share anything on another website, take a moment to read its privacy policy. That policy decides how your information is handled there, and World View HD is not responsible for how those websites treat your information.
3. What Information We Collect
3.1 Personal Data
“Personal Data” means information that can identify you or help us reach you. It may include your name, mailing address, phone number and email address. We may collect it when you use the Website or a World View HD Product, and especially when you register as a Member.
You may share Personal Data with us when you:
- create an account
- join our message boards
- sign up for our email newsletter
- buy from our Website or register a World View HD Product
- download a software update
- enter a sweepstakes
- take part in a survey, promotion or give-away
As we grow, we may add new updates, upgrades, features, services and promotions. Some of them may ask you for Personal Data before you can join in.
3.2 Additional Data
We also gather some technical details when you use our Website. We call this “Additional Data.” It includes:

This information is tied to your product’s serial number. For some customers, we also link the serial number to Personal Data, so we can offer better customer service and support.
We bring together the information from many users to study it. Sometimes we share it anonymously with users of our Products and Services. For example, it can help power a feature such as a list of popular videos. We may also use Personal Data to suggest content that fits individual users.

3.6 Children
Our Website is not meant for children. You must be over 18 to register. We never ask for information from anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect it. We also do not accept registrations from anyone under 18.

When you register and give us your email address, we will ask whether you want to hear about World View HD Products and Services. You can choose the option you like.
Changed your mind? If you said yes, you can stop at any time. This applies to news about our Products and Services, and to messages from our partners and others about products and services that may interest you. Just email World View HD at [email protected]. We will note your choice in our database.

7. Public Posts
If you sign up to use our bulletin boards, remember that everything you post there is public. Other users of the bulletin boards can also see your profile.
8. How We Keep Your Information Safe
We take sensible steps to guard the Personal Data we hold. These include physical, electronic and procedural measures that protect against loss, misuse, theft, unauthorized access, disclosure and changes.
- Encryption: when you give us details such as a credit card number, we protect the transmission with SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) and other security technology. This helps stop anyone from intercepting it online.
- Protected servers: your Personal Data is stored on servers that are guarded by firewalls and other technical protections against intrusion and unauthorized access.
